hello!
last night after using my computer i remember that my cousin MAY2x asking me a few days ago if she can used my computer to check her friendster and also her emails.. so i look for her and when i saw her i ask her if she wants to.... and she said yes.. while shes in her friendster looking some of her friends account.. theres a picture that get my attention.. its about the BLUE WHALE...
so if you see the picture and read the article maybe you can say is this true?.. hehehe..
#: A blue whale produces over 400 gallons of sperm when it ejaculates;
but only 10% of that actually makes into his mate. - so 360 gallons are spilled into the ocean every time one unload..
You wonder why the ocean is so salty..
Don't swallow the water!!..

The Island Garden City of Samal
Posted by janean Tuesday, June 10, 2008 davao, history of samal, islamic tribal group, the island garden city of samal 1 comments »History of Samal
In the early Sp
anish regime, during the reign of Don Jose Uyanguren of Davao City ,
a certain Island within the DAVAO Gulf was named “ SAMAL” in recognition to the settlers who migrated from Jolo and Basilan called the “ ISLAMIC TRIBAL GROUP” or “ ISAMAL” . Most of the settlers lived along the coastal areas and only few in the hinter lands. Their daily primitive way of acquiring foods is through fishing, farming, and hunting within the vicinity.
The island was crea
ted into a municipality named as “ Municipality of Samal” and Barrio Peñaplata was the center for commercial economic and government operation. At that time , the municipal councilors of Samal found its concept of local autonomy and effective delivery of services. They therefore decided to create another municipality in order to be effective and autonomous in governance. Mayor Simplicio Obenza , Sr. made his iniative to the speedy creation of two municipalities. from official website of Islandgarden CityofSamal
: this month we will have adventure in the ISLAND.. with my friends and my brother ALLAN..
METEOROLOGY
Posted by janean Tuesday, June 10, 2008 atmosphere, atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric physics, atmospheric sciences, earth's atmosphere, meteorological phenomena, meteorology, pressure, trotosphere, water vapor, weather 1 comments »"" Meteorology (from Greek: metéōron, "high in the sky"; and lógos, "knowledge") is the interdisciplinary scientific study of the atmosphere that focuses on weather processes and forecasting (in contrast with climatology).
Meteorological phenomena are observable weather events which illuminate and are explained by the science of meteorology. Those events are bound by the variables that exist in Earth's atmosphere. They are temperature, pressure, water vapor, and the gradients and interactions of each variable, and how they change in time. The majority of Earth's observed weather is located in the troposphere.
Meteorology, climatology, atmospheric physics, and atmospheric chemistry are sub-disciplines of the atmospheric sciences. Meteorology and hydrology compose the interdisciplinary field of hydrometeorology.
Interactions between Earth's atmosphere and the oceans are part of coupled ocean-atmosphere studies. Meteorology has application in many diverse fields such as the military, energy production, transport, agriculture and construction. ""
